Experts team

The project to create an evaluation system for farm inputs in Organic farming is executed by a panel of Experts:

Xenia Gatzert, FiBL Projekte GmbH, Frankfurt, Germany, is working in the field of feed, feed additives and fermentation additives.

Jochen Leopold, FiBL Projekte GmbH, Frankfurt, Germany, is working in the field of fertilisers,  composts, substrates and inputs for vinification. He is also responsible for the inputs lists of Organic farming associations.

Rolf Mäder, FiBL Projekte GmbH, Frankfurt, Germany, is leading the project and is working in the field of feed, feed additives, fermentation additives. In his former job with the control body alicon GmbH he has initiated their inputs list for organic agriculture.

Veronika Maurer, FiBL Frick (Switzerland), is i.a. responsible for the evaluation of farm inputs in the field of stable flies, ectoparasites, disinfection agents, fermentation additives and apiary utilities. She is supporting this project for the evaluation of organic farm inputs in Germany.

Marlene Milan, FiBL Projekte GmbH, Frankfurt, Germany, is working in the fields of fertilisers, composts, and substrates and also cleaning, disinfection, and hygiene.

Bernhard Speiser, FiBL Frick (Switzerland), is supporting this project for the evaluation of organic farm inputs in the field of plant protection agents. At FiBl Frick he is i.a. responsible for the evaluation of organic farm inputs in the field of plant protection. Furthermore he is scientific coordinator in the project "Organic Inputs Evaluation" (www.organicinputs.org).

Prof. Dr. Klaus-Peter Wilbois is an external collaborator of FiBL. On September 1st 2016, he was appointed to the University of Applied Sciences Weihenstephan-Triesdorf, Germany. He teaches at the faculty of Agricultural and Nutritional Science in the field "Plant production systems in ecological agriculture". Dr. Wilbois is in an consulting position for the categories plant protection, plant strengthening agents, products for cleaning, disinfection and udder hygiene, products against stable flies and ectoparasites as well as products for bee treatment regarding their compatibility with the principles of organic farming.

Lucius Tamm, FiBL Frick (Switzerland), with many years of experience, is supporting this project  in the field of plant protection agents. He is leading the department of plant protection at the FiBL Frick and has established the first Swiss inputs list for organic farming in 1996.
